Chemistry Departmental Seminar-2026

Department of Chemistry, Don Bosco College, Tura organized the annual departmental seminar on 28th April 2026 at the Bosco Hall at 10.30 AM. The basic idea behind organizing such seminar was to give a platform to the undergraduate students to show case their talents, exchange and enrich their knowledge through presentation and discussion. Altogether six groups from different semester presented their studies on different topics followed by question and answer session from the professors of the department. In the inaugural session Dr. Madhusudhan Saha, HOD, Department of Chemistry in his welcome address highlighted the applications of Chemistry in building careers in industries, PSU’s and in research. Dr. Meuller Beul Sangma, IQAC coordinator spoke on the occasion and expressed her views in building careers with Chemistry. Rev. Fr Januarius S Sangma SDB, SDB, Principal Don Bosco College, Tura in his message urged the students to be disciplined and take up studies with utmost sincerity.  In the technical session the students presented their scheme. Prof. Popy Dey gave her comments on the performance of the students finally Dr. Brilliant N Marak proposed the vote of thanks followed by light refreshment. Overall, the Chemistry Departmental Seminar – 2026 was an enriching and inspiring event that fostered academic excellence, collaboration, and innovation among students and faculty.
