A few days after the commencement of the new semester (even), the IQAC and the Management, Don Bosco College Tura convened a meeting of the Office and Support Staff on 18 February 2026 in the Bosco Hall of the college. The first session was led by Dr. Yubaraj Sharma, Assistant Professor and Assistant Coordinator of the IQAC. In his presentation on data management, he emphasised the vital role of systematic documentation and digital record-keeping in advancing NAAC preparations. He highlighted the importance of accurate data collection, organised storage, and efficient retrieval of information at short notice. Dr. Sharma underlined that effective office management today must align with technological advancements, ensuring transparency, speed, and reliability in institutional processes. He encouraged the staff to adopt digital tools proactively and maintain updated records to strengthen the academic and administrative profile of the college. The next session was addressed by Fr. Louis Arimboor, the Administrator. He appreciated the thoughtful initiative of organising the meeting at the beginning of the academic year and commended the office and support staff for their collaborative and dedicated service. He elaborated on administrative responsibilities, stressing that efficiency, teamwork, and clear communication are essential for the smooth functioning of the institution. He expressed satisfaction at the spirit of cooperation among the staff and urged them to continue working with unity and commitment. The final session was conducted by the Principal, who presented a PowerPoint reflection on the core values that guide the institution. He spoke on excellence, confidentiality, accountability, and transparency as foundational principles of effective administration. Emphasising discipline, he reminded the staff that each department must strive to be at its best in order to promote the growth and reputation of the entire institution. He further highlighted the importance of punctuality, cleanliness, honesty, and integrity in daily work, noting that these values build trust and credibility within and outside the college community. The meeting concluded with an interactive session, during which the staff were given the opportunity to ask questions and share suggestions. The discussions were constructive and forward-looking. The gathering ended on a cordial note with a cup of tea, marking a renewed beginning and a shared resolve to serve the institution with greater responsibility and excellence in the new academic year.
