NCC cadets training programme

 

A month long intensive training for the NCC unit of the college was held in the college. The BSF jawans of the 20th Battalion stationed at Dobasipara, Tura were giving the training to the cadets on how to do the march-past and the different drills that the cadets ought to learn. Altogether 25 cadets participated the training every day.

The aim and objective of the camp is to inculcate values of discipline, dutifulness, personality, orderliness and smartness, team spirit, leadership, character formation, self reliance and the spirit of social work. The various trainings to be covered during the programme are drill, physical and self defence training, health and hygiene, general awareness, social service, environment conservation, disaster management and career counseling.

NCC is the right organization for providing tremendous opportunities to the youth of the region particularly of Tura.

The college expressed thanks to the DIG of the Border Security Force (BSF) for sending his boys to train the NCC cadets.
