Cleanliness Campaign as part of Swachhta Samaroh by NCC cadets

Heeding the invitation of the Commanding Officer of the 2 Meghalaya Bn NCC on observance of SWACHHTA SAMAROH, the NCC cadets of Don Bosco College, Tura on 18^th September 2018 did the cleaning of the Bus stand at Chandmari, Tura.

Twenty one students armed with cleaning materials swept the bus stand along with the NCC CTO Sengprang A. Sangma.

The main idea of the cleaning drive was to make the people aware of the need to maintain the sourroundings clean. The noble works of the NCC cadets was highly appreciated by the municipal board of Tura who encouraged the students to continue with the cleanliness campaign.

Other programmes that have been planned to celebrate the occasion are awareness programme, rally, seminar, workshop, cleanliness of the college campus and the war monument at Tura which is adopted by the NCC cadets of the college.
