DBC students interacts with Dr. Subhankar Paul, Senior Clinical Fellow (Transplantation), University of Cambridge, U.K

 

An interactive session was organised for the students of Don Bosco College, Tura with Dr. Subhankar Paul, Senior Clinical Fellow (Transplantation), University of Cambridge, U.K. Dr. Subhankar Paul is an alumni Don Bosco College, Tura did his MBBS and Post graduation in India then shifted to University of Cambridge, U.K for his research in Transplantation of vital organs like Kidney, Liver etc.

 

About 200 students and the Science faculty members attended the programme where he highlighted the different steps and procedures involved in Transplantation surgery. Fr. Bivan Rodriques Mukhim, SDB, Principal of Don Bosco College, Tura welcomed him with his warm words and felicitated with a Stoll and memento.

 

In his speech Dr Subhankar Paul motivated all the students and inspired them to accept the challenges to achieve goals in life. In the question answer session many students asked questions and the resource person clarified all their doubts. The students were pleased and happy to have a past student of the college in their midst and expressed their satisfaction and gratitude to the Dept. of Chemistry for organising such a programme.
