Seminar by Department of Sociology

In the series of various academic activities, the sociology department has organized a departmental seminar for the 6th semester sociology honours students on the 3rd of May 2023at Bosco Hall. The programme was started at 1:30 PM with the welcome address by Jangmatchi Ch Momin, 6th semester sociology honours students.

The department faculty and students were actively present in the departmental seminar. The departmental Seminar was conducted in the afternoon and held in seminar hall. The students were divided into 11 groups (A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, I, J) and in each group consist of five students. The presentation was presented by each student of the group and they were inspired to choose their topic from different sociological relevant which was given by the teacher. The presentation was done through a power point presentation and was shared via the HD TV. The departmental Seminar was organised solely to nurture the presentation and communication skills of the students. Students were guided and individually trained by their mentors of the department of Sociology.
