NEET Exams held in Garo Hills for the second consecutive year

 

Seven Hundred and Forty Nine Candidates wrote the NEET Exams 2023 in the three centers in Garo Hills. The examination was conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) on Sunday 07th May 2023. The NEET centers are Don Bosco College, Tura, New Horizon School and Captain William’s School.

 

The Deputy Commissioner of West Garo Hills, Shri Jagdish Chelani IAS, played an instrumental role in helping all the three centers accomplish the task of conducting the examination seamlessly. Thanks to his efforts, there were no untoward incidents during the exams, and all the centers were able to submit the completed scripts to the City Coordinator at Don Bosco College, Tura before the deadline.

 

The City Coordinator, Fr Bivan Rodriques Mukhim, Principal of Don Bosco College, Tura, expressed his delight at the turnout of the candidates, which doubled from last year's total of 380. He also added that it is encouraging to see more students from Garo Hills taking the NEET Exams, and he hopes that the coming year will see even more candidates writing the competitive exams.

 

The NEET exams are a crucial part of the admission process for medical colleges in India. It is mandatory for students seeking admission to undergraduate medical courses in government and private medical colleges to qualify for NEET exams. The exams are conducted in various cities across India, and this year's exams in Garo Hills were successfully conducted without any incidents.
