Outgoing NCC Cadets Organize Enriching Outing to Guwahati.

A commendable initiative was taken by the outgoing NCC (National Cadet Corps) cadets of the College, guided by their CTOs Mr. Abhimanyu Sharma and Ms. Westerley R Marak. On the 30th of June, 2023, a one-day outing to Guwahati's exhilarating destination, Accoland, was organized, allowing 49 cadets to relish the experience of camaraderie and adventure.

The journey commenced in the early hours of the morning, with the spirited cadets and their dedicated CTOs departing Tura at 5:00 AM. The journey, undertaken with enthusiasm, led the group to reach Guwahati by 11:00 AM, where the eagerly awaited escapade began. The chosen destination, Accoland, promised a day filled with thrills and exhilaration, setting the stage for a memorable day ahead.

Under the meticulous guidance of CTOs Mr. Abhimanyu Sharma and Ms. Westerley R Marak, the cadets were provided with ample opportunities to explore, enjoy, and learn. The outing was meticulously planned, ensuring that the cadets had ample time to engage in various activities, fostering a sense of unity and rejuvenation.

As the sun began to set, the cadets gathered at 5:45 PM, marking the end of their exciting adventure at Accoland. Grouping up, they embarked on their journey back to Tura at 6:00 PM, taking with them memories of an unforgettable day.

The return journey was equally eventful, with the group reaching Tura around midnight. Despite the late hour, the cadets and CTOs returned to their respective homes with a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction, knowing that they had organized an outing that left a positive impact on all involved.

This outing served as a platform for the cadets to venture beyond their routine and familiar surroundings, allowing them to experience a diverse range of emotions. The mix of excitement, camaraderie, and the thrill of adventure left an indelible mark on their minds. Importantly, this initiative did more than just provide a day of amusement; it significantly contributed to the mental and physical well-being of the cadets.

As they explored the various attractions and engaged in activities at Accoland, the cadets not only enjoyed themselves but also pushed their boundaries and exposed themselves to new environments. The outing proved to be a powerful tool for personal growth and development, nurturing qualities such as teamwork, leadership, and adaptability.
