Piping Ceremony Marks Honorary Rank Conferment to NCC Cadets.

In a solemn ceremony that reverberated with pride and a sense of responsibility, the National Cadet Corps (NCC) conducted a piping ceremony to confer Honorary Rank to its cadets. The event took place on August 26, 2023, at Bosco Hall.

The ceremony was orchestrated under the guidance of two stalwart figures in the NCC, CTO Abhimanyu Sharma and CTO Westerley R. Marak. Their meticulous direction and preparation ensured that the cadets were ready to embrace the honor that was about to be bestowed upon them.

Fr Bivan Rodriques Mukhim, the Principal, administer the honorary ranks to the cadets. Fr Mukhim individually recognized each cadet's dedication and commitment to the NCC.

Addressing the assembly, Fr Mukhim conveyed his heartfelt wishes to the cadets and extended his congratulations. He emphasized that being a part of the NCC went beyond just military training – it encompassed instilling a sense of civic duty and responsibility. Fr Mukhim envisioned a future where NCC cadets actively participated in initiatives like cleaning drives, ensuring that their campus remained an exemplar of cleanliness and order.

The Principal's words resonated deeply as he stressed the importance of setting positive examples for society through their way of life. He urged the cadets to carry these values beyond the campus, making a lasting impact on the communities they would be a part of. The NCC, he reminded them, was a platform to serve not just the institution but also the nation.

The event was made even more special by the presence of former NCC cadets of the college, who joined in to witness the passing of the torch to the new generation. Their presence served as a testament to the enduring spirit of camaraderie that the NCC fosters and the lasting impact it has on its members.
