Dr Barbara S Sangma attends Bilateral Exchange Visit of A.chik Language, History, Tradition, Culture and Folklore.

Dr. Barbara S. Sangma from the Department of English and the IQAC Coordinator participated as a Resource Person in a “Bilateral Exchange Visit of A.chik Language, History, Tradition, Culture and Folklore” organized by Caritas, Bangladesh from 1st to 7th September, 2023.

It may, however be noted that she could participate in the said Bilateral Exchange only from 1st to 4th due her prior engagement elsewhere.

During the course of her stay in Bangladesh she facilitated a number of programmes, gave a special talk on “Achik Folk Theatre” and chaired a Group Discussion on Poetry.

According to her, the Bilateral Exchange Programme was a good initiative and hoped that more such programmes will be organized in the future.
