Cleaning Drive Empowers Youth in 'Swachhata Hi Seva 2023' Campaign.

In a resounding display of community spirit and commitment to cleanliness, students from the National Service Scheme (NSS), National Cadet Corps (NCC), and the Students' Welfare Association (SWA) at Don Bosco College, Tura came together on September 28, 2023, to participate in a General Cleaning Drive as part of the 'Swachhata Hi Seva 2023' campaign.

The cleaning drive, which kicked off at 08:30 am and continued until 12:30 pm, saw a remarkable turnout of enthusiastic students who willingly took on the responsibility of sprucing up the college premises. Armed with brooms and dustpans, the students embarked on a mission to ensure cleanliness in every nook and cranny of the college building, as well as the surrounding lawns and gardens.

The event showcased the unwavering dedication of the NCC, NSS, and SWA members as they worked tirelessly to sweep away dirt and litter. Their collective effort was a heartening testament to the power of young individuals coming together for a common cause – a cleaner and more hygienic college environment.

This cleaning drive not only signifies the students' commitment to cleanliness but also holds significant importance in the context of the upcoming visit by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) Peer Team to the College.
