Hon’ble Speaker Shri Thomas A. Sangma Assesses Meghalaya Games Preparedness at Don Bosco College - Tura.

In a meticulous inspection aimed at ensuring the seamless execution of the 5th Meghalaya Games 2024, the Hon’ble Speaker of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly, Shri Thomas A. Sangma, accompanied by officials from the District Administration and the Department of Sports, visited Don Bosco College in Tura on January 6, 2023.

The purpose of the visit was to evaluate the preparedness of Don Bosco College, which has been entrusted with the responsibility of hosting the Basketball event during the Meghalaya Games scheduled from January 15 to 20, 2024.

The inspection covered various aspects, including the condition of the basketball court, accommodation facilities, and overall logistical preparations.

Expressing his satisfaction with the preparations, the Hon’ble Speaker commended the efforts of Don Bosco College, highlighting the significance of hosting the Basketball discipline. He conveyed his best wishes to the college for successfully organizing and hosting this crucial segment of the Meghalaya Games.
