'Humanity' theme marks the 9th International Day of Yoga

 

Don Bosco College in Tura, Meghalaya, in collaboration with the A'chik Tourism Society (ATC) and the Ministry of Tourism's Indiatourism division in Shillong, organized a vibrant Yoga Session on the occasion of the 9th International Day of Yoga. The event took place on June 21 at the Don Bosco College Multipurpose Gymnasium Hall, attracting a diverse array of participants.

 

Under the theme 'Humanity,' the Yoga session aimed to promote the holistic well-being of individuals while emphasizing the importance of unity and compassion. The event drew a significant number of enthusiastic participants, comprising students, faculty members, staff, and members of the local community.

 

The Yoga session was led by expert instructors, who guided the participants through various yoga asanas (poses) and pranayama (breathing exercises). The practitioners skillfully demonstrated the techniques while emphasizing the importance of proper form and mindful breathing. The soothing music in the background further enhanced the overall experience, creating an atmosphere of tranquility.

 

Participants actively engaged in the yoga session, following the instructions with great enthusiasm and dedication.
