Triumphant Showcase of Literary Talent.

The Fifth semester Students of the department of English, Shift I of Don Bosco College, orchestrated a triumphant program, weaving together enactments of works by Edgar Allan Poe, Shakespeare, and an excerpt from "The Mayor of Casterbridge" by Thomas Hardy. Their performances, marked by diversity and engagement, captivated the audience and underscored the students' dedication and talent in bringing literary masterpieces to life on stage.

Beyond the compelling Poe and Shakespearean plays, the program featured a tapestry of scenes. One group skillfully rendered the wife auctioning scene of Michael Henchard, enhancing the theatrical experience. Another group tackled the enigmatic "System of Dr. Tarr and Professor Fether," displaying their adaptability across literary genres. Additionally, a separate group embraced the challenge of enacting scenes from Shakespeare's "Macbeth," contributing to the program's overall richness and showcasing the students' versatile prowess in theatrical expression. Collectively, these efforts added a vibrant and multifaceted dimension to the event, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.
